Ruben Major, CEO – Ruben’s warm smile and confident posture, as seen in his EMS University portrait, reflect two decades of dedication to EMS. He began his career in 2000, working as a paramedic and EMS supervisor while teaching CPR and first aid. Beyond his on-scene expertise, Ruben earned a Master’s degree in Military History and a Juris Doctor. Before establishing EMS University, he served as an EMS and paramedic program director, launching new EMT and paramedic courses. His experience and approachable leadership shine through both his work and his image.
Jonathan Thompson, Vice President – Jonathan’s portrait on EMS University’s about page captures him with a friendly expression and professional demeanor. He became an EMT in 2008 and gained field experience as a phlebotomist at United Blood Services and as an EMT with Professional Medical Transport (PMT) Ambulance. Jonathan joined EMS University in 2013 as a lead instructor and now serves as Vice President. He is currently enrolled in a paramedic program. His energy and commitment to training and compliance are evident both in his career and in his photo.
